College Visit Program 2012 -2013

UC = University of Cincinnati, TMC = Thomas More College, XU = Xavier University
MSJ = College of Mount St. Joseph, NKU = Northern Kentucky University
CS = Cincinnati State Technical and Community College

• We have made special arrangements with these colleges for Mercy students to have a first class tour and presentation.
• Parents are welcome to attend these events along with their daughter.
• Students will sign up in the guidance office aprox. 2 weeks ahead of each date.
• Students will be responsible for their own transportation.
• These programs are open to all Mercy students.

Each of these schools also have programs open to the public that are especially designed for high school juniors and seniors. With the appropriate paperwork filed at school well in advance, students may attend these days with an excused absence from school.

UC		Visitation Days	Tues., Wed., Thurs. - 9:00 AM or 1:00 PM
MSJ		Get Acquainted Days Discovery Days	Saturdays - October 20, April 6 Wednesday, November 28 and Monday, February 18
NKU		Black and Gold Days	Saturdays - October 27 and November 10
TMC		Fall Preview Day	Saturdays - September 15 and November 10
CS		College Info Session	Tuesdays 9:00 AM

If you are not interested in any of these colleges, there a few things you might want to consider…

• Maybe taking a visit to a school that you are not particularly interested in could be a trial run for you. You can get a chance to see what a tour is like, what types of questions are asked and answered and what you might need to know ahead of time in order to make the most out of your next visit.
• These could be fantastic days to set up your own visits to the school of your choice. Even if the school of your choice is out of town, some of these dates are Fridays, so you could travel on Thursday evening or Friday morning and make a weekend out of the visit. Please contact the admissions office of the college(s) of your choice and set up a visit. All Admissions offices are eager to help.
