Vote for Sportswoman of the Year

Voting for the Western Hills Press Sportswoman of the Year is now open. Mercy is pleased to announce that three senior athletes have been nominated for the award:

• Lindsey Dinkelacker: Volleyball, 4 years, team captain, First-Team All-GGCL, SWOVBCA First-Team, LaRosa's Most Valuable Player of the Week, OHSVCA (state) First-Team. SWOVBCA senior academic award. Will attend St. Louis University.
  
  
• Anna Eggleston: Soccer, 4 years, softball, 4 years, First-Team All-GGCL 2011. Earned Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Academic Excellence Award in 2011. Will attend West Virginia State for softball.
  
  
• Amy Feie: Bowling, 4 years, First Team All-GGCL, tied highest bowling average in school history with 195, 2012-12 state qualifier, team captain. Softball, 4 years, First-Team All-GGCL, All-Metro Second-Team, LaRosa's Most Valuable Player pf the Week nominee, previous Community Press Sportswoman of the Year. Carries over 4.0 GPA with multiple academic awards. Will attend Bellarmine College for softball.
