World Language Honor Society
Moderators: Mrs. Smock (French) & Ms. Herrmann (Spanish)
Mission:
To stimulate interest in the study of French and Spanish and promote high standards of scholarship.
Activities: Organize
and plan the activities for French and Spanish Club, Sponsor tutoring
services to aid students having difficulty with language learning,
design and maintain a bulletin board depicting French and Spanish
culture and plan activities and events for National French Week.
Membership: Open to all foreign language students meeting the following criteria:
- must be enrolled in the second semester of French 2 or Spanish 2 or higher
- must
have maintained an A in French or Spanish during the semester selection
as well as a cumulative average of A- or higher in all Foreign language
classes
- must have a B or higher in all other subjects during
the semester of selection, as well as a cumulative average of B- or
higher in all other subjects

Planning for Honors Banquet
Club leaders and members currently in the Foreign Language Honor Society are meeting up in March and April to get ready to induct new students in the Foreign Language National Honor Society.
