2011 Athletic Banquet Awards

GGCL Scholar Athlete Nominee - Katie Minning

The Heismann Award  -  this award is given to a senior to represent mercy in the national competition.   The award criteria is based on three areas considered equally: academic excellence, community service, and athletic achievement. The Mercy winner was Katie Minning.

OHSAA Courageous Student Award - Jackie Meyer

Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity OHSAA Award- Archie Griffin Award 

The award is open to all seniors, is a person who continually exemplifies good sporstmanship, is a positive role model for others, reflects a high level of ethics and integrity in dealing with students and the sports program, and supports and demonstrates positive values.

This year the award goes to Megan Humphry.

“M” Award Charm goes to the girls that have the most participation in the athletic program. The point system includes all teams, GAA office, & being captain. The girls receiving the charm this year are: 

Kim Schloemer, Monica Murphy and Heather Smith

Lisa Moore Award  -  the criteria for this award is outstanding team spirit, concern for your teammates, and overall school spirit.

This very special award goes to Allie Hart.
