Grade School Volleyball Tournament

December 26, 2009 though January 24, 2010
Format: We will be using a Pool Play format this year. Two teams will come out of the pools of three teams and go to a single elimination bracket tourney. You are guaranteed 2 games.
Divisions: 7 & 8 A - The top 7/8th grade team from your school
7 & 8 B1 - Second team if your school has one
7 & 8 B - All other 7/8th grade teams from your school
5 & 6 A - The top 5/6th, or 5/6th grade combination team from your school
5 & 6 B1 - Second team if your school has one
5 & 6 B - All other 5/6th grade teams from your school
We do open the tournament up to other school parish teams other than those in the GWAC.
They may only enter the A division in 7/8th or A division in 5/6th.
Rules: The National Federation High School Rules will be used.

Awards: T-Shirts will be awarded in all six divisions to players on the first and second place teams.
Entry Form: The enclosed entry form, roster, and entry fee must be returned by Saturday, November 21, 2009. Additonal forms can be found on our website: motherofmercy.org. Coaches will be notified by email or phone by Friday, December 11, 2009, of the date and time of your first game.
Please make sure your email address is filled in on the entry form. In case of inclement weather, the coach will be called and emailed.
Conflicts: We have been having trouble in the past years rescheduling games due to conflicts with confirmations, etc. Please check your parish calendar and also check with your team regarding anything else that may cause a conflict. Please list those dates that your team cannot play on the entry form. We will schedule around your league games.
