Class of 2021
*New Summer HSPT Prep Course: Tackle core aspects of the HSPT with four 2-hour sessions on August 8-11. Open to the Class of 2021 (entering 8th graders) only.
Summer Mathletic Training Course: Enrichment course designed to diagnose strengths and weaknesses and tune-up math skills for students at any level. Download registration form.
Shadowing: Starting at the beginning of our school year, eighth graders are invited to experience a Mercy school day. Shadow a current Mercy student to get a feel of what it’s really like to be a Bobcat. Schedule in advance, as grade school in-service days fill up quickly!
Volleyball Spirit Games: Cheer on our volleyball teams with current Bobcats and other Future Bobcats as they face McAuley on Tuesday, October 4.
Open House: Sixth, seventh and eighth grade girls and their families are invited to see all that Mercy has to offer at Open House on Sunday, November 6 from 1 - 4 p.m.
Fall Musical: Come see Mercy's fall musical, Seussical The Musical in Mercy's theatre on November 11 & 12 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 13 at 2:00 p.m., as well as November 18 & 19 at 7:30 p.m.
HSTP Prep Course: Strengthen your test-taking skills at our HPST Prep Course, offered on Saturday, November 12.
HSPT: Register to take the High School Placement Test (offered at Mercy on November 19). In case of emergencies, make-up test is available on Monday, November 21 at 8:30 a.m.
Admission Forms Due:
Holiday Fun Camp: On Friday, November 25 girls and boys, ages 3 and up gather for Black Friday holiday fun.
- Admission Applications are due by November 14. If you are unable to complete the application online, call 661.2740 ext. 346 for a paper copy.
- Scholarships and financial aid
are available for incoming freshman in many categories. Scholarships
are granted based on Admissions Application Essay and HSPT Scores.
- Financial aid applications will be available mid-September and are due by November 14. When financial aid applications become available, you can apply on FACTS website at online.factsmgt.com/signin/3XD77.
- The Release of Records form is to be submitted to your current school in order for your academic records to arrive at Mercy by Friday, December 6.
- Students with ISP/IEPs must have all records and service plans to Mercy by Friday, November 4.
Breakfast with Santa: Kids and parents are invited to have breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 3 at 10 a.m. $10/adults $5/kids includes breakfast, crafts and a picture with Santa.
Inspired Excellence Scholarship Competitions: Based on scholarship applications, eighth graders will be selected to participate in various Inspired Excellence Scholarship Competitions on Monday, December 5. A number of contestants will be awarded with the Scholarship Inspired Excellence toward their freshman year tuition. If applying for this scholarship, hold this date.

invited to get to know other Future
Bobcats at our holiday extravaganza!
Admission Announcement: Check your mail! On Wednesday January 11, we will announce all admission, scholarship and tuition assistance offers for the incoming Class of 2021. Following Archdiocesan guidelines, scholarship announcements and admission letters will be mailed on this date.
Admission with Distinction: On Monday, January 23, we welcome all scholarship recipients of the Class of 2021 and their families to Mercy for a dinner and formal presentation of their awards.
Scholarship Acceptance Deadline: All scholarship recipients must accept or decline their financial award by Wednesday, January 25.
Commitment Day: Registration for incoming freshmen begins on Wednesday, January 25 from 5-7 p.m. A non-refundable tuition deposit and registration form is required to attend. Please park in Mercy's Tech Wing lot and enter the library at the bottom of the entrance steps.
Basketball Spirit Games: Cheer on our basketball teams with current Bobcats and other Future Bobcats as they face Seton on Thursday, February 2. Game times: 4:30, 6:00, & 7:30 p.m.
Ed Choice (Voucher) Application: For those applying for the Ed Choice Scholarship, all documentation, including the application or renewal form, a copy of the student's birth certificate and proof of residency (utility bill) is due to Heather Wagner in February.
Course Scheduling Packets: Information will be mailed to incoming freshmen mid-February. Please schedule your conference after receiving the course scheduling packet.
World Language & Math Placement Tests: Optional tests to be scheduled via application upon registration. Please consult your 8th grade Math/Language teacher to determine if you are qualified to test out of specific courses. Click here for more information.

Junior Bobcat Night:
Fifth and sixth grade girls are invited to Mercy on Friday, March 3
for a night full of fun. Future Bobcats will enjoy activities including a

Future Bobcat Spring Theatre Night: Future Bobcats are invited to see a preview of Mercy's Spring Play, Stage Door on Thursday, March 9. At this free showing, enjoy photo opportunities and a curtain talk with cast and crew. Other show times include March 10 & 11 at 7:30 p.m. and March 12 at 2:00 p.m.
Spring Into Mercy:
Seventh graders are invited to "Spring into Mercy" on Friday, April 7
with a karaoke party in the gym. Future Bobcats get pumped up for
everything Mercy has in store for them during their eighth grade year
with ice cream, music trivia activities and prizes galore! Let's kickoff
the journey toward high school!
Easter Egg Hunt: Parents and kids ages 1-10, join us on Mercy’s front lawn Saturday, March 8.
Tuition Packets Mailed: Information regarding tuition will be mailed to incoming freshmen mid April.
Athletic Meeting: All incoming students interested in playing any sport their freshman year are highly encouraged to attend an athletic meeting with at least one parent on Wednesday, May 3 at 7 p.m. in Mercy's gym. For questions, contact Denise Harvey, Athletic Director at 513.661.2740 ext. 325.
Incoming Parent Social: The Parents' Association will sponsor a gathering for incoming parents on Wednesday, May 3 (*Following the athletic meeting).
